I was at a Boot Sale in North Yorkshire, the stall had lots of old and tatty postcards of places I had never heard of and nothing of interest. At the bottom of one box was a torn and dirty postcard, I looked at it, "How much mate" I asked, "10p" was the reply, "Ill give you £10", I heard myself say,"If you want" the stallholder replied, quickly taking my note.
It was what I thought it was, a picture of Bartlow Station with the Three Hills in the background , it was a bargain, oh what a bargain.
