"Make a fortune selling on eBay" you said .

My concern with eBay and PayPal grows ever greater with every passing day. I started out full of hope, I sold quite a lot of items to very grateful and worthwhile buyers, then the twerps arrived. One informed me of the wrong address to post the item too, blamed PayPal and expected me to sort the problem out.Another one minced about, not paying, blaming me for his delay and all sorts of rot.

Still more bid, but did not pay, far too many to list.Lots of people asked stupid questions, just for the sake of asking stupid questions it would seem. I now have the situation where people insist they have paid me for items which I have no knowledge of, and they demand I supply them with items I have never had, or ever likely to have had.Payments for items, which I have listed and which have been bought, have been made via PayPal to email data different to mine and the transactions are listed on eBay as not being complete.

Still other eBayers have contacted me, requesting, if I supply them with one item at the listed price they want me to supply them another item free of charge, the list grows ever greater. I have had no listed items for sale for some time now, but I still get tedious hassle from people I do not know on matters of no concern to me. After I had been using eBay for a few days I noticed an increase in Pop-Ups, Spam Emails and other rubbish, since I have not been active this problem has stopped, I used Adware to clean out the junk.

I had heard tales of problems with eBay and PayPal but I disregarded them with a caviller attitude, thinking problems only happen to others, I was both stupid and wrong, the problems I have encountered have been greater than I imagined. You meet some wonderful people, they know who they are, you also meet some total twits, they don't know who they are.

If you have something to sell :

Support your local boot sale or charity shop, don't bother with this eBay palaver, its a waste of time and a lot of bother for very little.

Have a Garden Sale !

Garden Sale at Anvil Farm

Much more practical - Much more fun

The above event raised over £400 for St Mary's Church Floor Fund.

Everybody had a great time, no parcels to pack, nothing to post, no paperwork to fiddle about with. no payments to fret about - GREAT.

When you BUY something from eBay/PayPal the money comes straight out of your BANK/CARD ACCOUNT.

When you SELL something via eBay/PayPal  you have to CLAIM IT - MAKE A WITHDRAWL TO YOUR ACTUAL BANKERS ACCOUNT.

I have £260 in my PayPal account I keep trying to claim it - but nothing happens.

I have not logged onto eBay for weeks but still have offensive emails and phone calls referring to transactions I know nothing about.

I did get up to 48 positive feedbacks, goodness knows what the situation is now, I'm afraid to look.

I know numerous people, no longer touching eBay/PayPal with the proverbial barge pole, who have had negative feedback for no valid reason what so ever, other than through spite, malice or stupidity
